Innovo Chemicals is acquired by Singleton Birch Limited.
The shareholders of Innovo Chemicals Limited are delighted to announce the acquisition of the Company by Singleton Birch Ltd.
Singleton Birch has been a major raw material supplier for a number of years and the Innovox products will broaden the product range they are able to offer. Integration of the manufacturing facilities at Singleton Birch’s Melton Ross site has already taken place and the Innovox products are being produced using the same recipes, equipment, additives and packaging as previously. Innovo Chemicals’ customers will continue to receive high quality products and flexible, friendly service. The site relocation will allow Innovo to continue the competitive supply of Innovox calcium oxides and hydroxides to the world’s polymer industries. Innovo Chemicals’ founder, John Drinkhill, will be assisting the new owners to further develop the business over the next few years. Efficiency improvements in manufacturing and significant sales growth are Innovo’s primary ambitions.

The range of release agents and flame retardants manufactured by Technick Products in the USA has become part of the Innovo portfolio.
Both internal and external release agents are offered for a variety of processing techniques including pultrusion, compression/injection moulding, preform wet moulding, extrusion and RTM.
The non-halogenated flame retardants include organo-phosphorus/nitrogen compounds for use in polyolefins, organo-phosphates for polyamides and a reactive phosphorus diol for use in epoxy, polyurethane and polyester systems.

Ionpure antimicrobial additives are added to the Innovo Chemical's range of products.
These silver-based products manufactured by Ishizuka Glass in Japan can provide antimicrobial and antibacterial protection for the majority of polymeric products and have a multitude of applications.
The active ingredient is dispersed in a glass matrix that can release silver ions over an extended time period ensuring the finished articles are protected over their projected life span.

Innovo adds the range of impact modifiers and processing aids manufactured by Jinhong Chemical to its distributorship portfolio.
The product range includes both chlorinated polyethylene and acrylic modifiers for PVC, acrylic processing aids (also for cellular PVC production) and CPVC.
